Lieutenant (junior grade) Kim is a Civil Engineer Corps officer assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Five, currently deployed to the Indo-Pacific area of operations. He graduated from Columbia University in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a minor in history.
